Equipment

Systems we work on

Package and rooftop units

A package unit holds the compressor, both coils and the blower in one cabinet, usually on the roof or a slab. Belts, filters, condensate pans and outdoor coils all sit in the weather.

Some have economizers or multiple compressor stages. Each is checked and measured, not just switched on.

Split systems

Smaller offices, storefronts and church buildings often run several residential-style split systems. That means more outdoor units, more air handlers and more drain lines to keep track of.

Each system gets its own readings, so you can see which one is costing you money.

Where systems work hardest

Commercial buildings we service

Restaurants

Kitchen heat and cooking vapor load the system and coat coils and filters. A dining room that won’t cool shows up in the reviews.

Offices

Long run hours, full rooms and equipment heat. Comfort complaints often trace back to airflow or controls.

Retail

Door traffic pulls in hot, humid air all day. Systems that can’t keep up leave stores sticky by afternoon.

Churches

Large rooms used a few days a week. The system has to pull down heat and humidity before people arrive.

What we measure

Readings, not guesses

  • Refrigerant pressures, superheat and subcooling
  • Amp draw on compressors and fan motors
  • Static pressure, belt condition and blower operation
  • Capacitors, contactors and electrical connections
  • Condensate drain, pan and float switch
  • Temperature split and thermostat or controls operation

You see the readings. If something needs repair, you get a written quote before any work starts.
