Permits
Bradford County’s Building Department, in the north wing of the courthouse, handles building permits for the county.
If the home is inside Starke city limits or on City of Starke utilities, the county sends you to the City of Starke Building and Zoning Department, which takes permit applications through its own portal.
Lawtey, Hampton and Brooker are separate municipalities. The county’s page doesn’t say which office permits work inside them, so confirm before a replacement is scheduled.
Where we work
Starke is the county seat and largest city. Lawtey and Hampton are small towns nearby, each with its own municipal government. Pick one for local details.
What homes need
Humidity is the constant. A system that is oversized, low on refrigerant or moving too little air will cool the house without pulling out enough moisture, and the rooms stay sticky. Measuring superheat, subcooling and static pressure shows which one you’re dealing with.
More on humidity and air quality.
If your home heats with a heat pump, it works in both seasons. A weak capacitor, a refrigerant leak or a failed defrost control often shows up first as longer run times and a higher power bill. See heat pump repair.
Rental owners and property managers can use us for turnovers and inspection forms.
Seniors, military and first responders get 10% off residential work. See discounts, or ask about financing on larger jobs.
Duct leaks are easy to miss. A torn flex duct or a loose connection in the attic can leave one room warm while the rest of the house is fine. Static pressure readings and a look at the duct runs show whether duct repair will fix it.

The residential diagnostic fee is $129, waived if you go ahead with a recommended repair over $250. You get a written quote before any work starts.
