Flagler County seat
A Bunnell address can mean a house near the old courthouse or a home on open land miles out. We service both, on visits scheduled ahead.
Quick facts
Local conditions
Bunnell was settled in the 1880s, incorporated in 1913, and named for Alvah Bunnell, who made shingles and supplied wood to the railroad. It is the Flagler County seat, home to the 1927 county courthouse, and its oldest standing building is the Lambert House from 1909.
Annexations since 2000 stretched the city to roughly 139 square miles, which makes it one of the largest cities in Florida by area. So a home here can be an older in-town house near US 1, known locally as State Street, or a place out on land that was once farm and timber country.
Shops, barns and garage workshops on bigger lots are good candidates for a ductless mini-split, which cools one space without tying into the house ductwork. Most mini-splits heat as well as cool, which helps in a shop on winter mornings. For businesses near downtown, we also handle commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
Booking
Call (904) 467-1100 or book online, and we will put the visit on the calendar. Residential diagnostics are $129, waived on recommended repairs over $250, and the quote is always in writing. Older houses near downtown get the same duct and electrical checks as any older home, starting with static pressure.
For a metal shop or barn, insulation matters as much as the equipment; a mini-split in an uninsulated building will run all day and still struggle. Before cooling an outbuilding, think through:
